The CGS Thesis Prize Award

The CGS Thesis Prize Award

Call For Applications

Deadline: April 22, 2024 at 5 p.m.

Penn State’s Center for Global Studies will award prizes up to $500 this year to students who have completed commendable thesis projects that advance a global perspective. These awards are intended not only to recognize the excellent work of students who combine studies in the Liberal Arts with a concern for global issues, but also to encourage these students in continuing their contributions to the field of global studies.

These awards are issued as a one-time payment and must follow Penn State financial procedures. Please be aware that any financial award you receive may result in a decrease of your student loan amount. Any questions related to how this award may affect your financial aid should be directed to the Office of Student Aid.

How to Apply

To be eligible, the award applicants must be students in the College of the Liberal Arts and have completed a thesis project in the College.
