Biography:

Christine Morris is a Social Studies faculty member at Bellefonte Area High School in Bellefonte, PA. She has received a BA in History, Social Studies certification, and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from The Pennsylvania State University. In addition, Christine also holds a MA in Psychology from Northcentral University. Christine’s teaching assignments include AP Psychology, AP European History, World Cultures, US History 2 in addition to several mini courses that are offered during the fourth quarter. Christine also serves as the National Honor Society adviser for the Bellefonte chapter, a volunteer adviser for the Model United Nations program, and a History/Psychology tutor. Three of her courses are also available for dual enrollment credit through the University of Pittsburgh’s College in High School program. Throughout her 23 year tenure, Christine has been a mentor teacher for new teachers and a student teaching cooperating teacher. Her philosophy of education for both students in her classroom and practicing student teachers that she helps to mentor is that
everyone can be successful if they have the tools they need for success – drive, determination, and willingness to do well.
